A Debate on the Best Wolf Girl

My first time looking at the story "St. Lucy's Home for Girls Raised by Wolves" it looked like a story I wouldn't read. Though I might not have want to read it I was told to do so anyway. When I first read the story it started off with some narration from the main character saying how her and her sister were sent to this train like home. I soon saw that the story is going by sections, or in the story they say "stages". These section correlate with the actual stages in turning a wolf girl human in the story. I have never read something that had that type of organization, which I thought was nice to see. Then when I got to read about the narrators perspective and her sisters feelings, I begun to enjoy the story. The characters show good character development through each stage especially the narrator. Though, my favorite character is the complete opposite in the story. The characters name is Mirabella. She seems to not change from how she is and isn't following how to be a girl. She is just herself and shows that throughout the story. Though everyone neglects her because she hasn't changed to the pint were she starves. Even with her being neglected she doesn't care and doesn't change. That shows how true hearted she is to being a wolf girl. With that the mid section of the story is just the narrator practing her dance for a party which she doesn't seem to be good at. Also about the character Jeanette who is the the most successful at being a regular girl. I don't like these two characters they are just selfish and rude. Once the main character learns the dance she finally goes to the party and forgets how to do the dance. While that is unfortunate the hero Mirabella being a true wolf steps up and protects her pack member by tackling her. This gives all the attention on Mirabella and not the main character. Since the Home is like a school Mirabella is removed and sent back to the woods. While that happens the main character and her sisters graduate and go back home. Then the main character realizes at the end once back home she is to separated from being a wolf girl anymore and says to herself how she isn't home anymore. The story was good the characters seemed the same to me except for Mirabella. Would recommend if you want to see some decent character development in a story.

I soon would learn that I would have to do a group project on the best character in the story. I had no say in picking which character I wanted. Since everyone was randomly given a character. That went well though since I got my favorite character in the story Mirabella. I first off don't like doing projects since its a lot for one big grade. Also I don't really do well working with others. I first off thought to myself that it is going to be a nice and simple project and it won't be a big deal. Once we begun working I didn't know what to do and just worked by myself and filled some parts off the project out. I just kept to myself and did my work. The next day I just sat and rested for a bit still kinda confused. Though everything seemed to work out on the last day which was the debate day. I just kept quite and listened to the debate. I wanted to help my group but just couldn't bring myself to do it. I had multiple chances and still didn't. I liked the whole debate it was fun to watch.

The debate was fun to see go down and for myself I should do better.
